The magazine was established in 2007.[5] The primary issue of Vogue India was the October 2007 issue, which was discharged on 20 September 2007. The cover included Bipasha Basu, Gemma Ward and Priyanka Chopra on the normal cover, and Monikangana Dutta, Preity Zinta, and Lakshmi Menon on the gatefold cover.[6] The cover was shot by picture taker Patrick Demarchelier.[7]
